The nearest airports are Kuusamo Airport (55 km) and Rovaniemi Airport (138 km). Both offer convenient options for arriving in the region, with rental cars available.

Self Check-in

Hilla Lodge is a self-service cabin with independent check-in. Arrival instructions and access details will be provided before your stay.

Self-Catering Accommodation

The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals. Restaurants and grocery shopping are available in Posio area, with the nearest restaurant approximately 1.5 km away and the nearest grocery store 6 km away.

Pets Welcome

Your four-legged family members are welcome at Hilla Lodge! A pet fee of €30 per stay applies. A dog bed and food and water bowls are provided.

Winter Maintenance

The driveway and parking area are regularly plowed during winter. Guests are responsible for clearing snow from the entrance steps and immediate walkways as needed during their stay. A snow shovel is provided.

Lapland Weather

Lapland's weather is part of its unique charm. Winters can be extremely cold, with temperatures dropping well below freezing. Summers are generally mild, but temperatures can vary considerably, and chilly days are possible even in the warmer months.
